で、日本戦に彼が出るかもというニュースですが、よく読むと一言も「モンドラゴンが出る」とは書いてません。すでに突破は決まっているのですから、メンバーの入れ替え自体は当然あるでしょう。警告を受けている選手はもちろん、故障を抱えている選手も休むでしょうし、38歳のDFジェペスなども年齢が年齢ですし、欠場するように思います。
だから日本にチャンスあり。そう言えるほどサッカーの世界は単純ではなく、ノープレッシャーの控え選手がグループ最終戦で躍動するというのは、W杯でもEUROでもしばしば見られる現象ではあります。ただ、今の日本がベストのコロンビアと激突する。そんなシナリオよりは幾分「マシ」ではないかと思います。
