ハリルホジッチ新監督、今月下旬の初陣へ31選手を選出（JFA）
SAMURAI BLUE（日本代表）のヴァイッド・ハリルホジッチ新監督は3月19日(木)、初陣となる今月27日(金)のキリンチャレンジカップ2015 対チュニジア代表戦（大分／大分スポーツ公園総合競技場）と同31日(火)のJALチャレンジカップ2015 対ウズベキスタン代表戦（東京／東京スタジアム）へ向けて、代表メンバー31選手とバックアップ選手12人を発表しました。
ハリルホジッチ監督は、集まった報道陣を前に会見場に用意されたプロジェクターの脇に立ち、選出した選手をポジションごとに一人ずつ映し出して紹介しました。
31人のメンバーには、FW 本田圭佑選手（ACミラン）、FW 岡崎慎司（1.FCマインツ）、MF
香川真司選手（ボルシア・ドルトムント）ら代表では馴染みの顔ぶれに加えて、MF山口蛍選手（セレッソ大阪）、FW興梠慎三選手（浦和レッズ）らが入りました。

過去の監督でもフォーメーション練習などでは各ポジションに配置して、サイドバックやウイングだけでなく、センターバックやボランチも左右で分けるケースはありますが、この段階で分かれて表示されるというのは珍しいことです。実際の試合では例えば山口蛍と柴崎岳が左右で入れ替わることもあるとは思いますけどね。
またバックアップメンバーも含めてポジションごとに表示することで、今回選ばれていない選手にも、代表を狙うにはどの選手を上回ればいいのかはっきりします。Jリーグや代表メンバー外の海外組を含めた競争の活性化ですね。ハリルホジッチ監督は勝利のためにチームが１つになることを要求する監督という認識は変わりませんが、チーム内競争に対する意識、それがレベルアップにつながるという意識を持っていることが明らかになったと思います。
